Printing Memories with Cheerz*

In a world dominated by social media and digital memories, having things like photographs for me is very rare and like many others, all my memories and personal photographs are either stored on my phone or computer. I don't mind this, just for me personally, there's something much more special and nostalgic about having physical copies of photographs. I have in the past taken disposable cameras with me to places, as I love having the developed pictures afterwards. There's also something really nice about not knowing what your photo is going to look like but it can be pricey. Of course, you can invest in something like an Instax or Polaroid camera but depending on your budget, this just might not be an option. This is where Cheerz comes in.

I had actually been looking for a website that would allow me to print some of my photos in polaroid form for a while before I was contacted by Cheerz. I've always lusted after a clothesline photo display across my bedroom walls using fairylights and carefully selected photographs of me and my friends. And now, the dream can finally become a reality! Cheerz offer a range of photo products from magnets to photo booth style prints, that can be completely personalised using photos from your phone, computer, Instagram and loads more. I personally used their website but they also offer an app which allows you to easily upload photos from your device.

After a quick browser, I chose to create my own Cheerz Box, a cute little box housing 30-45 photos of your choice. I was really surprised at just how easy the website was to work. You just select which photos you want to upload, the box you want (I chose this adorable polkadot design) and then you can edit the photos. You get the option to add captions, change the background colour and even add filters to your photos. Most of mine already had Instagram filters of some sort but I did find the Cheerz filters added a really nice touch to some of the finished images.

The box arrived really quickly and I was really impressed with the overall quality of the prints and product itself. Firstly the box is adorable, definitely great to keep even if you don't keep the photos inside. The prints are also really nice quality as they're printed on good photo paper and the colours look incredible. Obviously the initial quality of your image plays a bit part in this so I would suggest selecting images that are of a better quality but even the more blurry photographs still turned out really nicely.

I've already started putting my photos up around my room, clipping them onto fairylights using these sparkly pegs from Paperchase. I'm really looking forward to creating my own photo washing line and I know I'll definitely be getting another box when I have more photos to print! If you're after somewhere to print your digital photos, I highly recommend Cheerz, you can even get £4 off with the code MEGYUC.

* This post features free PR samples however all opinions are my own. I only accept and write about products that I genuinely enjoy and think work on the blog. I am always 100% honest.

  3. I loved this post and I love your photos. I have so many polaroids printing off from these kinds of companies but I keep forgetting to peg them up!
There's something much more special about physically holding a photograph as opposed to seeing them through a screen.
