My New Favourite MAC Lipstick

Despite the fact that I definitely have enough lipsticks to last me the rest of my life and it would take me nearly two months to wear one per day, I couldn't resist picking up this beauty when I popped into MAC last week. I actually went in for Diva, having lusted after this shade for quite a while but instead I found myself more drawn to the shade D For Danger, part of their 2015 Matte Lip Collection.

This is like the more pink toned/berry colour younger sister of Diva and overall I found this to be a shade I'd end up wearing a lot more. I've been wearing this over the top of H&M's Cherry Tart liner and the result is just beautiful. Despite being a matte formula I actually find this to be extremely comfortable on the lips, it doesn't drag like a few of the MAC matte finishes can but instead feels a lot more creamy while still having the longevity of a matte shade. I definitely think I'll be rocking this colour A LOT throughout the next few months right up until Spring. This colour is very close to Rimmel's Kate Moss lipstick in 107, just a touch more matte and slightly darker I'd say.

Do you like D For Danger? What's your current favourite lipstick?

  9. I haven't heard of this color before but I do love the Rimmel Kate Moss 107 lipstick. A more matte/pigmented option sounds like a beautiful option for F/W!
