You're so Too Faced!

Of all the high end beauty brands, one that never fails to let me down and keeps me coming back, is Too Faced. After seeing countless beauty bloggers and vloggers using their makeup and being desperate to try out some of their products, I managed to grab a few while Stateside in December 2014 and have not looked back since. Especially now they're so easily accessible from Debenhams, the Too Faced website and a few other places. They're a brand that are instantly eye catching from the get go with packaging on point and the product to match. I never feel like I'm getting less than what I've paid for and let's me honest, they make pretty adorable additions to any makeup bag.

One of the first items I tried was their Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer, the lighter shade of their massively popular Chocolate Soleil bronzer. You can even see here that I've finally managed to hit pan on it *sobs*. Firstly, this smells of chocolate. Any beauty product that smells of chocolate is a winner for me, The formula is totally matte and buttery smooth to touch, meaning it blends like a dream on the skin without going patchy like some powders can. My favourite thing about this shade in particular though, is how well it works with my different skin tones. When I'm pale, this works really nicely to warm up the face without being too orange. And when I'm tanned, this acts as a really subtle bronze or contour shade.

Another product I picked up while shopping in Sephora was one of their Sweetheart Blushers in Peach Beach. A super shimmery baked blusher, consisting of three different shades that you can use individually or, like me, swirl together to create a glowing peach gold blush that makes your skin look like it's glowing from within. This is a particular favourite of mine for when I'm a little tanned as I think it gives you a super healthy glow, without being too sparkly or intense. One of my newer additions is their Love Flush Blush in I Will Always Love You, a bright coral shade with a slight golden shimmer, the colour pay off of these is a lot more intense than the Sweetheart Blushers, with a super soft blendable texture and long wearing formula. Packaging once again, is on point. The case itself reminds me of the old fashioned Polly Pocket houses, you get a nice sized mirror inside and each blusher has a super intricate design printed on the top, it's almost painful to swatch through fear of ruining it.

One of my favourite new additions and a product that I've used every single day since buying (seriously, I've nearly run out already and it pains me) is their Hangover Primer. One of the most nourishing, hydrating primers I have possibly ever used and for the first time in my life, I can genuinely see the difference a product has made since starting using it. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and boosted, combined with my everyday base routine and Urban Decay All Nighter, I have a face that will last me from morning to night and then some. I received one of their Melted Lipsticks in the shade Fig in a goodybag from a Debenhams press event a couple of months ago and though the shade isn't one I'd normally wear, I'm a big fan of the formula. You get the long wear time, pigmentation and colour payoff of a liquid lipstick but without the drying matte formula. One swipe is all you need for an opaque finish with a slightly glossy finish that will last for hours.

Too Faced also excel when it comes to eyeshadows and palettes. Of the two I own my favourite has to be the ever popular, Chocolate Bar palette. Firstly, it smells like chocolate. Anything that smells like chocolate is a bonus for me. But the formula of these is the real winner. Every shade has a super smooth, buttery consistency that makes them easy to blend and work with and the pigmentation is also spot on. Even the matte shades are incredible to work with, not chalky or dry at all. And exactly the same can be said about the Natural Matte palette. (See full post here.) Last but not least, a beauty blogger favourite, the Better Than Sex Mascara. I had really high hopes for this one as so many people have said such great things about this and I wasn't let down. Though I'm not massively keen on this for my lower lashes, as I find the wand too big and the product goes everywhere I love this for my upper lashes. You get loads of volume and added length too, definitely one of the best mascaras I've used in recent months.

Have you tried anything from Too Faced? Which are your favourite products?
