My Favourite Eyelure Lashes

I've mentioned on this blog before that I am serial wearer of false lashes and my go to have always been Eyelure. I like to order mine on Amazon but they're also available in Boots where they're regularly on some sort of offer like 3 for 2. I've had a few questions online and also from friends about how I can wear false lashes every day and the time it takes me to apply them. Like anything I find that practice makes perfect.

When I first started to wear lashes they look me forever to apply. I would get so frustrated constantly trying to get them perfect on each eye and as close to the lash line as possible. For me personally, I find it a lot easier to use my fingers to apply lashes but I do know people who find it a lot easier with tweezers. It's all about finding what works best for you and what you find easiest, Apply a line of glue across the base of the lashes and wait until the glue has dried slightly to a tacky texture, then starting from the outside of the eye inwards, place them as close to the lash line as possible. I then take my mascara and apply it to my natural lashes and the bottom the falsies to create a seamless transition. When taken care of properly, you can wear these lashes over and over again, for example after a night out I always make sure to peel them off gently and put them somewhere safe.

My go to pair for everyday wear are the No 100's. These are part of their volume collection and for me I find they create the perfect natural everyday eye look. My lashes lack volume and length and these provide both of these without looking overly fake. The amount of these that I've bought, I should seriously have some sort of discount for bulk buying!

No 140 from the exaggerate range are my go to for a dramatic night out look. These don't look natural at all, they're the complete opposite end of the spectrum from the No 100's and definitely not one for the everyday but on a night out this is the exact look that I want to go for. I love to create an intense look when I go out that really frames the eye.

Do you wear false lashes? Which are your favourites?

  1. I'm a little rubbish when it comes to false eyelashes. No 100 look so pretty though, definitely want to give them a go. x

  5. I'm not one to wear falsies, really, because I'm not too sure they make a difference to my eyes, haha. These look incredible, though. Lovely review, Megan Jean.

    1. Exactly, especially if like me you lack length and volume in the lash department.

  14. I do love false eyelashes, I prefer individual eyelashes though as they are semi-permanent and last a very long time.

  15. I am still a baby when it comes to falsies. I used to apply individual ones to go out. More recently, I got Fleur de Force's 3/4 ones which I absolutely love! These ones look so dramatic and intense. I would definitely love to try out very glamourous ones and see how I look with them on! Xx
